Yuen Pei Shong Yau (菀彼桑柔), translated as 'Luxuriant is that young mulberry tree,' is an anthology of poetry by Yuen Man Leuk (阮文略/熒惑). In the opening chapter, the mulberry tree emerges as a central metaphor. The chapter includes a series of poems by a father to his daughter, accompanied by her own hand-drawn illustrations. These poems convey a sense of hope and aspiration for the child.
     The book's design reconfigures maps of Hong Kong into a surreal, floating landscape. Maps from various eras were scanned and torn into pieces. These fragments are reassembled in the design, piecing together an imaginative landscape. The fragments, like mulberry leaves, scattered all over the ground.
